Interviews to Begin in May
Patna, Bihar: Following a Patna High Court order, the path has been cleared for the appointment of over 4,000 Assistant Professors in 13 universities of the state. The Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) has begun preparations for the interviews, which will commence in May. The commission will soon take legal advice and initiate the further process.
Interviews for Psychology Complete: The commission has already completed the interviews for the Psychology subject. Now, candidates will be called for interviews according to the increased seats due to the backlog. After this, the process of releasing the results will be undertaken. Additionally, the interview process for new subjects will also begin from May. The commission has so far made appointments in a dozen subjects, including Hindi.
4,108 Vacancies to be Filled: Now, the appointment of Assistant Professors (AP) will be made soon in the 4,108 vacant posts in the universities of the state. This includes 755 backlog vacancies.
Screening Process Complete: BSUSC Chairman Girish Kumar Choudhary informed that the screening process for all subjects is almost complete at the Commission level. Now, the interview process will be started soon after taking legal advice. In this, the interview of the candidates of those subjects will be conducted first, whose interview has already been done, but the result has not been released.
